A donation of £60 was made to Perth Association of Mental Health prior to Christmas to cover the cost of their Christmas party. Thanks have been received by email and card from Rosemary Patrick, the student who requested the assistance of the club and from Alastair Jamieson, the volunteer co-ordinator at PAMH. Acknowledgement of the club’s support has been posted on the PAMH website and Mr Jamieson advised that the PA would be advised of our support (I didn’t see anything but I didn’t get all the papers over Christmas).
Willie Monks, Ian Brown and Janet Simpson met with Alastair Maclean and Gillian Booth of Perthshire Artists’ Association on Tuesday 9 January to progress the proposed Young Artist competition and afterwards Council approved the proposal for 2 first prizes of £50 and 2 second prizes of £25 (one for each of 2 age groups) It is likely that the prizes will be awarded in September.
Nominations for the Sports Aid Grants have now been received from Scottish Sports Aid and will be considered by the Committee. Council approved the award of one grant of £250.

I now have dates from Nick for the mock interviews at Strathallan and shall put a board round on 30 January
If anyone needs a speaker for “their night” over the next couple of months then let me know as Wendy Duigan of Tayside Fire Brigade and the Princes Trust has contacted me for dates to come and speak about the work which they did in Kyustendil. You may remember that we supported the project.
