YOUTH WORK IN PERTH

Shaun Bartlet, an employee of Perth & Kinross Council, spoke to Club members about his work with the young people in Perth; in the Letham and Tulloch areas in particular. He told of the many problems faced by youth and social workers, and of the varied and innovative efforts to find solutions.

Shaun is a Yorkshireman and an ex-RAF chef who moved to the area about twenty eight years ago. He studied at Dundee University before taking up his present appointment with the local Council. He is pictured (right) with his host Bob Thomson.
