Strathearn Cheesemakers Pierre Leger and Drew Watson paid us a visit and brought samples of their tasty signature cheeses.

Pierre (right) and Drew (left) started the business in January 2016 which is located at Cultybraggan Camp near Comrie (an old WWII prisoner-of-war camp).

Pierre came to Scotland 23 years ago and has worked in catering most of his career.   Drew on the other hand spent most of his working life in engineering before joining forces with his new partner to form the Strathearn Cheese Company.

Their Strathearn Cheese was awarded a Gold Medal at the World Cheese Awards in November 2016, held in San Sebastian.
