ROTARY CHARITY TEAM GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Rotary Club held their Charity Golf Tournament at the Dunkeld & Birnam Golf Club on Wednesday 6th September and for the twelfth consecutive year at that venue the weather was fine and sunny.

The course was in excellent condition and the assistance, hospitality and meals provided by the Golf Club were very much appreciated by all.

18 teams entered the tournament which was won by “Farquhars Finest” (pictured) representing Farquhar & Sons, Printers. They won both the Strathallan Trophy for the lowest net score and “Hardies Red Hot Ball Prize” for the Team Ball lowest net score. They are also pretty good at printing calendars!

Money raised for Rotary charities has not yet been calculated but we hope to achieve an amount similar to last year’s total of about £2000.
