In conjunction with the Perthshire Art Association, the Rotary Club of Perth Kinnoull has been sponsoring the Young Artist Competition for secondary schools in the Perth area since 2007.   This is therefore the 11th occasion of our involvement; something we are most proud of.

This year we had a record number of 112 entries, with 6 out of 7 secondary schools taking part, and we are delighted with this outstanding response.   However, it gave the judges from the Art Association a very difficult task and we thank them very much for their deliberations.   Congratulations also to the successful pupils and their schools.

Many thanks once again to Robin Rodger, President of the Perthshire Art Association, and his team for their help and expertise and for framing the winning pictures.

Dr Alistair Ross kindly presented the prizes to the winners.
