Our Club is to seek official Charitable Status, and Register with OSCR, the government Charity regulator. The official Resolution to do so was passed at the Club SGM in December, with the Club Office Bearers and their successors in office as the interim trustees. Janet was unanimously elected as clerk to the Trust. Whilst this will probably make little difference to this year's activities and income, it is expected to bring advantages and additional income through Gift Aid In subsequent years.
