CLUB HANDOVER 2021/22 - 2022/23

Tuesday 5th July saw the chains of office being handed from immediate Past President Brian Johnston to 2022 President of the Rotary Club of Perth Kinnoull, Steve Fairlie. Also pictured is Vice President Gillian Marsh, who was nominated for winning the Fellowship Quaich.

Rotary Wheel at Charlotte Gate

Monday 16th August 2021

Club member Steve Fairlie was driving home from work and spotted George Delgaty tending to the floral wheel at the western entrance to Perth at Charlotte Gate. Couldn't resist stopping to take a picture of George hard at work. Well done George.


Building Planters at The Neuk (home of the Lighthouse for Perth, Andy's Man Club, Womens Welfare Centre et.al.)

Sunday 25th July 2021 

Rotarians Bob Riddell. Chris Kirk, Steve Fairlie and very ably assisted by Steve's son Adam and Robin Louden from Andy's Man Club spent their Sunday building several wooden planters for the users of the facilities at The Neuk to enjoy. Pictured is a small planter (with legs cut to fit the uneven ground!) and Chris Kirk & Adam Fairlie.

Assistance for Young Sportsmen.

The Rotary Club of Perth Kinnoull recently presented their “Sportsaid” grant of £500 to local young sportsperson Rory McGuir. Pictured with Rory McGuire is Brian Johnston & Chris Kirk, vice president and president respectively and we wish local lad Rory all the very best in future competitions.

November's £1000 Winner

This month's £1000 winner in our Charity Lottery Calendar draw is Mike Moir of Scone.  Mike, who produces the Scone Village Association's bi-monthly "DESTINY" magazine was delighted with his win and is pictured (centre) with President Ian and Bob Riddell who sold the calendar.

Mike was easily persuaded to buy a copy of the 2020 calendar!
