Youth Convenor Chris Kirk (right) introduced Catherine McLeod to the Club on Tuesday evening when a cheque in support of her forthcoming trip to Africa was presented to her by President Ian Baird.

Catherine, a pupil of Perth High School, will be spending a year in Swaziland with the charity “Project Trust” and, as well as teaching full time in a local primary school, hopes to start and run creative and musical after-school clubs.

She is currently a member of the Fair City Singers and is also the First Clarinettist with Perth Youth Orchestra and the Central Groups Wind Band.
