Hans Lindebo (left) spoke to Club members tonight about Lapland. In an interesting and informative talk he spoke about Lapland and the Sami people who are indigenous to the area, and about his travels in the region.  He explained that Lapland today encompasses parts of far northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Kola Peninsula of Russia, and the border area between south and middle Sweden and Norway.

Hans, shown on the left in the picture, is accompanied by his host Rotarian Frank Muirden who proposed the vote of thanks.
